Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) is a leading institution in fisheries and aquaculture education. It sought to enhance its hybrid learning capabilities for both in-class and remote students. This led to the creation of an e-learning portal tailored for the diverse needs of its students. In pursuit of a more engaging and participatory e-learning experience, it turned to interactive display.
UMT outfitted thirty classrooms with Hikvision’s 65-inch 4K Interactive Displays. The screens not only served as a dynamic teaching tool but also facilitated live lecture delivery and recording. Students from partner schools can now engage in real-time participation via laptop anywhere. Absentees have the opportunity to view recorded lectures at their own pace. Simultaneously, teachers gained the flexibility to conduct lessons for both in-person and online attendees. This helps to enhance the learning experience through a combination of reach and personal touch.
As a result, UTM has strengthened its commitment to inclusivity and broadened access to educational content. By offering superior hybrid educational programs, the university ensures that all students, regardless of their location, benefit from a comprehensive, technology-driven academic journey.
